Get Creative Club, LLC Program Policies

Last Updated: August 2026

Welcome to Get Creative Club, LLC!

Our goal is to provide a safe, positive, creative, and welcoming environment where children can learn, explore, build confidence, and have fun.

By registering your child, you agree to the following program policies.

Enrollment & Registration

  • A registration form is required for each student.
  • Submitting a registration form does not guarantee a spot.
  • Your child's spot is confirmed once the required payment is received or the necessary Step Up For Students/EMA funding requirements are completed.
  • Class sizes may be limited to maintain a quality small-group experience.
  • Spots are filled based on completed enrollment.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for providing accurate information and notifying us of important changes.

Payment

Self-Pay Families

Payment must be completed according to the terms provided for your child's class, workshop, or session.

Your child's spot is not secured until the required payment has been received.

Step Up For Students / EMA

Get Creative Club, LLC is a Step Up For Students Direct Pay Provider.

Families using scholarship funds are responsible for completing any required steps in their EMA account, including reserving funds for the appropriate approved service when required.

Please remember:

  • Registering with Get Creative Club, LLC does not automatically reserve Step Up funds.
  • Enrollment is fully confirmed once the necessary funding requirements have been completed and can be verified.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring sufficient eligible scholarship funds are available.
  • If Step Up denies payment, determines that a service is ineligible, or funds are unavailable, we will contact you to discuss another accepted payment method.

Get Creative Club, LLC will follow current Step Up For Students requirements for invoicing, documentation, and payment.

Attendance

Regular attendance is encouraged, especially in multi-week programs where projects or lessons may build from week to week.

If your child will be absent, please notify us as soon as possible.

Because supplies, materials, classroom space, and instructor time are prepared in advance:

  • Missed classes due to student absence are generally not refundable or credited.
  • When reasonably possible, we may allow a student to complete or take home part of a missed project.
  • Make-up classes and replacement materials are not guaranteed.

For programs such as Write & Publish Your Own Book, students who miss a class may need to complete work at home to stay on schedule.

If Get Creative Club Cancels a Class

Occasionally, a class may need to be canceled or rescheduled because of instructor illness, severe weather, facility issues, emergencies, or circumstances outside of our reasonable control.

If this happens, we will notify families as soon as reasonably possible and make reasonable efforts to:

  • Provide a make-up class;
  • Reschedule the session; or
  • Provide another appropriate solution.

Families will not be charged for services that were not provided, subject to applicable Step Up For Students/EMA requirements.

Withdrawals & Refunds

Class sizes are limited, and materials may be purchased specifically for enrolled students. Registering therefore reserves a space that could otherwise have been offered to another family.

If you need to withdraw your child, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • Classes or sessions that have already been provided are non-refundable.
  • Once a multi-week program has started, refunds for the remaining classes are generally not provided.
  • Special circumstances may be reviewed individually by Get Creative Club, LLC.
  • Any approved refund will be processed according to the original payment method and, when applicable, Step Up For Students/EMA requirements.

Behavior Expectations

We want every child to feel safe, respected, and able to enjoy the program.

Students are expected to:

  • Treat instructors, classmates, facilities, and materials respectfully.
  • Follow reasonable safety and activity instructions.
  • Use tools, supplies, and equipment appropriately.
  • Keep hands, feet, and belongings to themselves.
  • Avoid bullying, harassment, threats, intentional property damage, or unsafe behavior.
  • Participate in a way that allows others to learn and enjoy the program.

We understand that children have different personalities, needs, abilities, and ways of communicating. Whenever reasonably possible, we will redirect behavior, explain expectations, and work with the student and parent/guardian to resolve concerns.

If a child's behavior creates an immediate safety concern, the child may need to be removed from the activity or picked up by a parent/guardian.

Repeated serious behavior concerns may result in dismissal from the program after communication with the parent/guardian.

Creative Activities & Materials

Programs may include activities such as:

  • Painting and crafts
  • Clay and adhesives
  • Woodworking
  • STEAM projects
  • Writing
  • Movement activities
  • Other age-appropriate creative experiences

Some activities can get messy! Please send your child in clothing and shoes that can safely get paint, glue, or other craft materials on them.

Age-appropriate tools and materials will be used with instructor guidance when needed.

Parents/guardians should disclose allergies, sensitivities, accommodations, or other information that may reasonably affect their child's safe participation.

Personal Belongings

Please avoid sending valuable or unnecessary personal belongings to class.

Get Creative Club, LLC is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or damaged personal belongings except as required by applicable law.

Program & Project Changes

Projects shown on our website, social media, flyers, advertisements, or program descriptions are examples of the types of activities students may experience.

Specific projects or activities may occasionally change because of:

  • Material availability
  • Student needs
  • Scheduling
  • Safety considerations
  • Other program needs

Any changes will be made while maintaining the overall purpose and quality of the program.

Communication

Parents/guardians are responsible for providing a current email address and phone number and reviewing important program communications.

Please contact Get Creative Club, LLC directly regarding absences, withdrawals, questions, or concerns.

Photo & Video Permission

Photo and video permission is optional and separate from enrollment.

Parents/guardians may choose whether their child can appear in photographs or videos used by Get Creative Club, LLC for our website, social media, flyers, advertisements, or other promotional materials.

Declining photo/video permission will not affect your child's ability to participate.

Parent/Guardian Agreement

By registering a student and accepting these Program Policies, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to the policies that apply to your child's participation in Get Creative Club, LLC programs.

These policies may occasionally be updated to reflect changes to our programs, facilities, payment procedures, or Step Up For Students requirements. Families will be notified if a material change affects an existing enrollment.
