Get Creative Club, LLCSpanish Class Program Policies

Last Updated: August 2026

Welcome to Get Creative Club, LLC! Our goal is to provide a safe, positive, engaging, and welcoming environment where students can learn Spanish, build confidence, practice communication skills, and enjoy learning a new language.

By registering a child for a Get Creative Club, LLC Spanish class, the parent or legal guardian agrees to the following policies.

Enrollment & Registration

Registration is required for each participating student. Submitting a registration form does not automatically guarantee a spot in a class or program.

Enrollment is considered confirmed once Get Creative Club, LLC has received the required payment or confirmed the appropriate Step Up For Students/EMA funding arrangements.

Class sizes may be limited to provide students with an engaging small-group learning experience. Spots are available on a first-completed-enrollment basis.

Parents/guardians are responsible for providing accurate and current information during registration and for notifying Get Creative Club, LLC if important information changes.

Payment

Self-Pay Families

Payment must be completed according to the payment terms provided for the selected class or session. A student's space is not considered secured until the required payment has been received.

Step Up For Students / EMA

Get Creative Club, LLC is a Step Up For Students Direct Pay Provider.

Families using eligible Step Up scholarship funds are responsible for completing any required actions within their EMA account, including reserving funds for the appropriate approved service when applicable.

Registration with Get Creative Club, LLC alone does not reserve scholarship funds. Enrollment is not considered fully confirmed until Get Creative Club, LLC can verify that the necessary Step Up/EMA funding requirements have been completed.

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that their student has sufficient eligible scholarship funds available.

If Step Up For Students denies payment, determines that a service is ineligible, or scholarship funds are otherwise unavailable, the parent/guardian will be contacted to determine whether they would like to continue enrollment using another accepted payment method.

Get Creative Club, LLC will follow Step Up For Students' current provider requirements regarding invoicing, service documentation, and payment.

Attendance

Regular attendance is encouraged, particularly because language skills often build upon material introduced and practiced during previous classes.

Please notify Get Creative Club, LLC as soon as possible if your child will be absent.

Because class space and instructor time are reserved in advance, missed classes are generally not refundable or credited when a student is absent.

When reasonably possible, students may be provided with information about material covered during a missed class or activities they can complete independently. However, individual make-up classes, additional instruction, and replacement class time are not guaranteed.

Students who miss classes may need to review or complete work between sessions to stay on pace with the class.

Cancellations by Get Creative Club, LLC

Occasionally, a class may need to be canceled or rescheduled because of instructor illness, severe weather, facility issues, emergencies, or circumstances outside of our reasonable control.

When possible, families will be notified as soon as reasonably practicable.

If Get Creative Club, LLC cancels a class, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a make-up class, reschedule the session, or provide another appropriate solution.

Families will not be charged for services that were not provided, subject to applicable Step Up For Students/EMA requirements.

Parent Cancellations & Refunds

Because class sizes are limited, registration reserves a space that may otherwise have been offered to another family.

If you need to withdraw your child, please contact Get Creative Club, LLC as soon as possible.

Payments for classes or sessions that have already been provided are non-refundable.

Once a multi-week Spanish program has begun, refunds for the remaining program are generally not provided except when Get Creative Club, LLC determines that special circumstances warrant an exception.

Any approved refund will be handled according to the original payment method and, when scholarship funds are involved, applicable Step Up For Students/EMA policies and procedures.

Learning Environment & Behavior Expectations

Get Creative Club, LLC is committed to creating an environment where every student feels safe, respected, comfortable participating, and able to learn.

Students are expected to:

  • Treat the instructor, other students, facilities, and learning materials with respect.
  • Follow reasonable classroom and safety instructions.
  • Participate in a manner that allows other students to learn and enjoy the class.
  • Use respectful and age-appropriate language and behavior.
  • Keep their hands, feet, and belongings to themselves.
  • Avoid bullying, harassment, threatening behavior, intentionally damaging property, or behavior that creates an unsafe or significantly disruptive learning environment.
  • Handle books, games, flashcards, technology, and other classroom materials appropriately.

We understand that children have different personalities, needs, abilities, learning styles, and levels of comfort when learning and speaking a new language. Students will not be expected to already know Spanish in order to participate unless a particular class is specifically identified as requiring previous Spanish experience.

Whenever reasonably possible, we will redirect behavior, communicate expectations, and work with the student and parent/guardian to resolve concerns.

However, behavior that presents an immediate safety risk to the student, another child, the instructor, or others may require the child to be removed from the activity or picked up by a parent/guardian.

Repeated serious behavioral concerns or behavior that substantially interferes with the learning environment may result in dismissal from the program after communication with the parent/guardian.

Spanish Language Activities & Instruction

Spanish classes may include age-appropriate activities such as vocabulary practice, conversation, pronunciation, listening activities, reading, writing, games, songs, cultural activities, group exercises, worksheets, and other interactive learning experiences.

The amount of Spanish used during class may vary depending on students' ages, experience levels, and learning needs. English may be used when appropriate to explain concepts, provide instructions, or support student understanding.

Students are encouraged to participate and practice speaking Spanish, but Get Creative Club, LLC recognizes that students develop language confidence at different rates.

Parents/guardians should disclose any accommodations, learning considerations, or other information that may reasonably affect their child's ability to participate successfully in class.

Learning Materials

Get Creative Club, LLC may provide or use worksheets, handouts, books, flashcards, games, digital resources, and other instructional materials during Spanish classes.

Some materials may be intended for use during class only, while others may be provided for students to take home or use for additional practice.

Students are expected to use classroom materials and equipment appropriately.

Personal Belongings

Students should avoid bringing valuable or unnecessary personal items to class.

Get Creative Club, LLC is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or damaged personal belongings except to the extent required by applicable law.

Curriculum & Program Changes

Topics, vocabulary, activities, games, projects, and other examples shown in advertisements, websites, social media, or program descriptions are examples of the types of learning experiences students may participate in.

Specific lessons or activities may occasionally change because of student needs, ability levels, scheduling, resource availability, instructional considerations, or other program needs while maintaining the overall purpose and quality of the Spanish program.

Get Creative Club, LLC may adjust the pace of instruction based on the needs and progress of the class.

Student Progress

Language learning develops differently for every student. Participation in a Get Creative Club, LLC Spanish class does not guarantee that a student will achieve a particular level of fluency, proficiency, academic grade, test score, or other specific result.

Our goal is to provide meaningful instruction, opportunities for practice, and an encouraging environment that supports continued Spanish language development.

Communication

Parents/guardians are responsible for providing a current email address and phone number and for reviewing important program communications.

Questions, absences, withdrawals, or other concerns should be communicated directly to Get Creative Club, LLC.

Parents/guardians are encouraged to communicate any information that may help the instructor support their child's learning experience.

Photo & Video Permission

Photo and video permission is optional and separate from enrollment.

Families may choose whether their child may appear in photographs or videos used by Get Creative Club, LLC for purposes such as its website, social media, flyers, advertisements, and other promotional materials.

Declining photo/video permission will not affect a child's ability to participate in the Spanish program.

Parent/Guardian Agreement

By registering a student and accepting these Program Policies, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges that they have reviewed and agree to the policies applicable to their child's participation in Get Creative Club, LLC Spanish classes.

These policies may be updated periodically to reflect changes in programs, facilities, payment procedures, instructional practices, or Step Up For Students requirements.

Families will be notified when a material change affects an existing enrollment.
